Hello all,

I just need a hint how to enter "matrices" in Maple which are lists of lists and so on.

Since I gave up on "math"ematica I would like to be able to enter what is just

below (with the dimension).

Is it doable in Maple...I guess yes :)

 

M = {{a, {1, a, -0.5}}
, {{b, {1}}}, c + d}
Out[5]= {a, {1, a, -0.5}, {{b, {1}}}, c + d}
In[8]:= MatrixForm[M]
Out[8]//MatrixForm=
a
{1, a, -0.5}
{{b, {1}}}
c + d
In[9]:= Dimensions[M]
Out[9]= {4}
