Question: Maple gets unresponsive with Nvidia drivers passt 610

If I install any Nvidia driver, that was released after 610.x, eg. 616.x or 617.x, Maple gets kind of unresponsive.

Example 1: I have an empty worksheet. Then I enter one line, like "y:=1+2" and after that, sometimes I can't press return. Nothing happens. If I now close Maple, using the X on the upper right, nothing more happens.

Example 2: I have a new, unsaved worksheet with nothing spectacular in it, just one simple line, and I want to close it with the X in the worksheet tabs. Then Maple asks me, if I want to save it. When I no click on "No", nothing more happens. The tab remains open. Now I can click the X in the tab bar again, and Maple will ask me the next time, if I want to save. Then I again click on "No" and the document is still open. - I could repeat this for hours, the result will always be the same.

Exmaple 3: I have a new document and entered one single term. If I now press the Enter-Key, nothing happens. The cursor remains in the first line. I still can edit the term without any problems. But as Enter does not work, I cannot do anything with this term.

In all cases, I used as example, Maple seems not to hang completely. You can switch between tabs, you can scroll through the ribbons, you get dialog-boxes. But it seems, as if Maple has stopped to respond to commands.

If I now revert to the Nvidia driver 610.88, everythins works fine without any problems. All three examples are working, as a user would expect.
