While I am getting more and more comfortable with the document mode, I have some questions regarding the document block feature:

- What is a document block good for anyway?
- Why not have the whole document in one block?
- Can one join two document blocks?
- when do I "remove the document block"
- How can I make sure that say an informational 2-D math expression inside a document block never gets executed?

This is the first time I used the Maple software so I haven't known clearly about it. could you give me a document about " How to use Maple ".

I run Maple 15 on an Acer laptop with Windows 7 and have the following problem:

When my Maple documents become "too" long, some of the vectors I have created seem to become tables instead (without me doing anything) rendering vector multiplications and additions/subtractions impossible (they'll throw an error; something like it not being possible to multiply a vector and a table. As if one of the vectors in my multiplication has become a table). Should it...

Can someone tell me how Maple coding written in worksheet mode can be fully transferred into a Word document taking all maple's commands, alignments and any section's arrows as they apper in worksheet mode? 

I found that after using "Export as" (tried everthing there), my worksheet appers to be abrupt, alignment of certain codings changed and all the arrows of sections removed.

Please tell me how to deal with this issue, I need to transfer my maple coding...

As many before me, ive lost all my note to this problem. Is there any chance to salvage this document or is it gone.

And indeed it has, 3/4th of my document is gone. What to do? Is there any way to fix this?

If I'm not mistaken Maple already had technical interactive documents.  And Mathematica introduced cdf only in mid 2011, however why is there so much hype about cdf and media coverage about it replacing pdf's.  Of course it differs by one letter and probably done so by design.  And if pdf is so popular, then so might cdf be in the future.  Pretty slick and trick marketing by Wolfram if you ask me.

I have a for loop :

Is it possible to change the way the output is displayed ? Right now its just on in one collum in the document, and a row for each do. Is it possible maybe to set it up in 2 collums or even 3 ?

I am trying to use Tables to better organize the layout of my Document mode worksheets. I have noticed two problems thus far.1) When I use the triple exclamation point icon to execute the worksheet, sometimes the code in the Table is skipped. and 2) I put a simple plot command in one cell. Hello all,

I'm familiar with using _ and ^ to enter subscripts and superscripts in document mode. However, the only way I know of moving out of those modes is to use the arrow keys. I was wondering if there was an alternative shortcut that wouldn't require me to move my hands from the home row?

In Maple 15 "Document" mode, how may I create a 2D fraction as *text* (as opposed to mathematical input that Maple evaluates)?

Maple 13 here.

The help documentation talks about an "Input Display Drop-down List", likewise for Output. What "Input Display Drop-down List" ? ... I can't see this anywhere.

In Maple (v13), how can you present a step-by-step solution in a document where each step :

1. Follows on from the previous line;
2. The equal signs are (vertically) lined up underneath each other; and
3. There may or may not be a LHS (there isn't if the LHS hasn't changed).

I suspect you need to use a table, but with this idea in mind I still cannot work out how to do this.
