@Preben Alsholm when copying from a website texts with spaces become annoyances

The underlying value is there, but the error is displayed in the cell.  The only workaround that is to manually put quotes around every cell that has space delimited text.

@tomleslie I can resize the code edit region, what version of Maple are you using?  ** edit added ** Ok I see Maple 2015.1.. resizing for code edit regions should work for you unless you mean something else.

** edit**

sorry ok you can't resize text.  You could use the magnifying glass in windows.

CRTL + 6 will increase the size for you, but it also increases the size of the whole worksheet as well.  It should be a workaround for you for the time being.

Ok I've figured it out.

Hover the cursor over the small bottom right box in the spreadsheet (the cursor won't change to a little resizing arrow until you click the mouse button while in that little corner box) then drag away.

@shadi1386 Maple has never had rulers on the sides of it's worksheets.  Unless you were confusing the history with microsoft Word and the markers option in Maple which may have morphed in your memory into thinking at one time Maple had rulers.  I'm pretty sure you were probably using Maple and Word way back then, maybe copying Maple expression into word and so forth and are now just confusing the two.

The other option is to set up the worksheet with a background plot working in the foreground, now that's an interesting idea (sorry for the diversion),

It is quite timely that all of the solutions in the book will almost be implemented in Maple on the 100 year anniversary of the theory.

@Carl Love I've seen this happen before and I don't know if it's mapleprimes forum operators making adjustments to posts/questions or if spam is being attached to them and deleted.

It is surprising to see India in 2nd place but lots of people wanting to pursue mathematics and engineering in that country not to mention the population levels.

I'm guessing the membership is not including the spam created accounts?

Re: comment about the number of releases.

Mathematica releasing more updates per version might just mean they have a lot more problems to fix.

@I_Mariusz Your same argument below saying "It appears that Maple is not a powerfull math software."  Means you are also saynig "It appears that Mathematica is not a powerful math software" because of your above statement.

@I_Mariusz You cannot judge maple based on one question which you haven't found a solution for.

@shadi alomari GENDEFGET is a routine based on DESOLV but I don't think it is actually a routine in the package, as you have already found.

@Preben Alsholm I'm not sure but I wonder if the order would change the speed at which one was accessing a certain library name?

That is if you prepepend the packages before the library, the time to access normal library packages could take ever so slightly longer than if you append the packages?  I don't really know but it would have to search through the added packages before reaching the library so I would think it would take a bit longer.

@Markiyan Hirnyk no this is for the label of the x axis not for the labels of the tickmarks.  Hopefully Maple 2016 (Maple 20) which is already in developement will have the option.

@Rouben Rostamian  I suppose it's just an illusion that the bead appears to slow down as it passes x=8.  Since the bead is frictionless, could probably just verify dx/dt is what it's supposed to be using energy conservation.

@Rouben Rostamian  Thanks for figuring that out.  It appears to move correctly until we move off to the right.  I am noticing a discrepancy but maybe it's just an illusion, as the bead falls off to the right during the animation it doesn't appear to move properly (ie not accelerating as fast as I would expect).

I substituted your fix for a
