Hello, I do not understand that if I try to execute this function for 3 times and between two calling I enter and execute restart, I do not understand, that after the 3rd calling it occures an error with stack limit reached. Why? I think, that restart clear all from internal memory and garbage collector clear everythink of this maple worksheet from pc memory. Vladimir

I saw the Wolfram days prezentation at the Aplimat Conference 2007 in Slovak republik last week. It was very similar to Maple prezentations on MARC, but it was for all participants of conference. Stories were very similar, maybe I would say that the word maple was changed to Mathematica. I am experienced with most of Maple and Mathematica products and my opinion is that Maplesoft products are better. Of course, some of Mathematica toolboxes has not an equivalent Maplesoft product. But when I saw presentation to Mathematica 6 (new product, that has not been released yet), I had to say that in Maple there are these features since Maple10. The main goal of presentation was that everything in Mathematica is symbolic. This was illustrated with Manipulate command to show how it is posible to manipulate with plots ect. The output of plots are very similar to maple plots with sliders that represent the value of variables. It was the hightlight of this presentation. Vladimir

A Wolfram workbench is nice for Mathematica programmers. It is somethink like Ecllipse. This product is based on this IDE. I have seen the prezentation from Conrad Wolfram and it was very exciting for people which are programmers. The IDE is complex and it is possible to use refactoring, viewing body of procedures and more and more. I miss similar IDE for Maple. Vladimir

I think that maplets and components are different in their usage. E.g. when I only show the outputs, I think, that using of Maplet is not suitable. I do not why use Maplets, there is no reason. Developing some assistants and tutors, it is for maplets. I think, that both technologies are very similar, but sometimes it is better to use one and othertimes the other. In some cases the maplets are very slow and components are more useful. The main reason for components is that is inside in documents and you can use them directly, withouth the calling of Maplets[Display](..) function! Vladimir

Hello, of course I use maplets, but sometimes it could be better to generate embedded components, because it is more comfortable for user. Yes , maplets are very useful, but components would be better in some situations. In Mathematica 6 there is a possibilities to genereate Manipulate plot... it is a plot with slider. Well if I would like to create the same, I have to use Maplets. Ok. I have another question. *.mw files are xml file. Well is it possible to change this file to create these components? I try to reinstall Maple 10 to Maple 10.0. It works correctly now. I try to install now the update - 10.02-10.06 including Maple 10.05. When I installed Maple 10.03 the problem is here again! Vladimir
