@14Robin You can remove all of the '[' markers from your worksheet by turning off visible execution group boundaries. From the "View" menu, select "Show/Hide Contents...".  In the dialog that appears, turn off the "Execution Group Boundaries" option.

Hello, Alejandro,

The "missing strokes" problem actually appears when antialiasing is enabled (sorry if that wasn't clear in my original response), and happens at a variety of font sizes including the default size of 12pt.

For example, here is a screen image of your example in Maple 13 running on Windows 7 with antialiasing enabled:

Here's the same example running in Maple 14 on the same system:

@pagan Ensuring that we maintain each user's privacy as well as the overall security of the server are definitely our primary concerns, but we also need to make sure that the server load is controlled and that we retain some level of flexibility in the API for this very new feature.

Your specific example of tools that facilitate group collaboration on Maple documents (such as tracking the history of how a document has changed) is an excellent one, and something we are thinking about quite a bit as we consider future enhancements to the Document Exchange.

Hi Gary, Okay, great -- I'm glad that worked. We'll still file the "disappearing cursor" problem as a bug, since it makes the worksheet appear unresponsive, but at least you'll be able to work uninterrupted for now. We're still looking into the kernel connection problem (my apologies for the fact that no one has responded on that one yet). We haven't been able to reproduce it, but we'll try a few different Macs here at the office. - Andrew.
Hi Gary, Is Maple completely unresponsive during the period before the cursor has returned, or can you begin typing? That is, if you start typing immediately after scrolling, do the characters that you type appear in the worksheet or do you still have to wait? It's possible that, for some reason, the cursor is not being redrawn correctly after a scroll operation. Thanks, Andrew.
Hello, That's quite strange; we haven't had any other reports of such significant delays. Would it be possible for you to send us a sample worksheet that is exhibiting the problem? Thanks, Andrew.
