@Kitonum  Thank you so much for the clear explaination. I'll have a look over it. I think I have an Idea how to do what you said. The maple file helps too. If you automate the process I'd be very interested in the code! I'd also like to know some of your thoughts on the "techinical" difficulites for the implicit surfaces you were tlaking about.

I have attached a picture for the kummer surface (an implicit surface arrising in algebraic geometry). I'd like to be able to reproduce something like this eventually in maple. (I tried .stl but it is not supported)
