@mmcdara I have some queries. Consider a simple relation i.e., , where  is a constant. For the range  and , the  have real, positive values. Can we do it in the above case which is more complicated? Secondly,  is maximum at  which can be obtained by putting . Also, you have taken w to be a constant by giving the numerical value "w = .2907448089", but this is not a constant. And can we put symbols [i.e., asteric, circle, box, etc] on the local and global max in the fig?
